Ep 68: Columbus Marathon Volunteering, Bourbon Chase Race Recap, Race Mishaps, Trail Running Chat

Today we hear from Rocco, and his experience volunteering at the Columbus Marathon.  The race was humid and unseasonably hot!  Next we hear from Wes and his race recap of the Bourbon Chase 200 Mile 6 Person Ultra race.  We discuss a few of our race mishaps, with the crazy happenings of the Milwaukee Marathon being set at the wrong distance, and the Venice marathon putting the leaders way off course allowing an unknown local to win the race.  With the Rock and Roots 20k 12 weeks away the whole team is thinking trail running, especially Rylon!  We talk a bit about running/hydration vests (Rocco's favorite Ultimate Direction Vest) as well as trail shoes and water bottle straps/holsters.  Go sign up for the race, and come run with us January 7th!  Check out the latest blog post for a running workout to keep you motivated and ready to race.  We'll be out at High Banks Metro Park  this Sunday 10/29 for our weekly group run!
